Jesus the Revolutionary (1)

Today some friends and I watched the video "The Revolutionary Epic" - which was a portrayal of Jesus as in the gospels. The life of Jesus, from his birth, his ministry, his death, his resurrection to his ascension, was presented in a fresh and captivating way.

That really got me thinking....was Jesus really a revolutionary? I've come up with some points which I'll write about in the next few days.

So do you see Jesus as a revolutionary? I'd be really interested in knowing what you think.

Was Jesus a revolutionary? that all depends on your definition of revolution: A rebellion, or a transformation? – Jesus did not come to rebel against the law, he came to fulfil it, and so if he is defined as a revolutionary, it is because the revolution he was involved with was that of transformation.

Great point there! How do you define 'revolution'? I feel that revolution has to do with changes, and 'transformation' is what I believe Jesus 'revolution' was all about. I agree totally with you there anonymous friend :)!
