No, the community of God is itself a mission field!

Being in church doesn't make you a Christian in the same way that being in a garage doesn't make you a car. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10700673.post-1125313853648381952005-08-29T04:10:00.000-07:002005-08-29T04:10:00.000-07:00I think mission should happen naturally as we go o...I think mission should happen naturally as we go out into the community in the normal course of our daily lives. One has to admit though that in order for that to happen, we need to go OUT of our community and not stay in our comfort zone. God might call us to be his embassador overseas, God might call us to be his embassador right where we are. We just need to be faithful to God's calling.Kitty Chenghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04596390144919647967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10700673.post-1125210334608685102005-08-27T23:25:00.000-07:002005-08-27T23:25:00.000-07:00I believe the mission field is all around us. There's a line on one of our SIM DVD presentations which says 'just because there are needs 'here' does not negate the idea that there are needs overseas'.
