My Heart's Journey

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray my sanity to keep.
On Lord, I don't want to lose my mind.
Your peace I do need to find.

I pray I find a little quiet. Far from the daily busy riot.
May I lie back--not have to think
about what they're stuffing down the sink.

Yes, now I lay me down to sleep, I pray my wits about me keep,
But as I look around I know--
I must have lost them long ago!

  9. Kitty dear, I had a chance to get caught up, and I like what you said May 2nd. Yes, God does have us to detatch ourselves to this world and give everything up and trust in Him alone. This may be the hardest trial of your whole life, I don't know, but trust in Him. Rest in Him. "The Lord will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee." "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding..."

  17. Andrea, thanks for visiting again. Haven't seen you for a while dear.
I must admit detaching and giving everything up and trusting in Him alone is not easy to do, but important. Thanks for your encouragement and reminder.
