Total Well-Being

In 2013, I've set an intention to commit to being focused on my own health and healing. I need to begin making conscious decisions that favor my desired outcome on a day-to-day and moment-by-moment basis.

If you don't value and accept yourself, you are always frightened that other people will reject you. To prevent people seeing how unacceptable you are, you keep them at a distance, and so you are always frightened and lonely. If you value yourself, you don't expect people to reject you. You aren't frightened of other people. You can be open, and so you enjoy good relationships.

If you value and accept yourself, you are able to relax and enjoy yourself, without feeling guilty. When you face a crisis, you know that, no matter how difficult the situation is, you will manage. How we see ourselves is central to every decision we make. People who value and accept themselves cope with life.

How do you ensure that you are well and healthy spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally?

I am working on this as well Kitty. For a long time I was not taking care of myself. Time to change that. Some things I have been doing are meditating and I joined a gym. I have a lot of work to do on myself, but I am getting there. :)

Great advice. I think that people are hiding for a whole host of reasons. The healing begins when we let go and let people in.

I meditate, exercise, eat whole foods, set positive intentions, and surround myself with great people and opportunities for growth daily! It is hard to be fearful or judgmental when you set your circumstances up to be loving and accepting :)

I start my day with a nice brisk walk followed by a healthy breakfast and then feed my brain by reading and studying from one of my great days. You must take good care of YOU if you plan to be of service to others. Great post Kitty!
