I Love Life

I love life! I appreciate the opportunity to experience it. Surely it has its challenges, difficulties, disappointments and heartaches. I have experienced my share of these. Nonetheless, what an incredible journey life is.

I have been reminded lately that no matter what the circumstances are in our world, we need to give thanks to God, count our blessings and be content. No matter how negative things seem at the moment, there is always good to be found in any situation. Those who can balance the bad with the good are the ones that find peace of mind and love of life. And finding that balance often takes a purposeful effort! I am committed to making an effort daily to see good (God) in every circumstance and seeing good (God) will help me appreciate this wonderful opportunity we call life. Let's do that together my friend!

Too right. All things work together for good for those that love the Lord, even if we don't always understand how. I certainly don't.

Hi Kitty,u
There is the path of Life or the path of Death.

The lovers of Life support Life and the Life forces.

This is why they do not support murder, abortion, capital punishment (murder by the State), euthanasia or suicide.

It is funny how some Christians are not consistent in this. I find it strange how in America the anti-abortionists often support capital punishment.

Hi Ross, Romans 8:28 is one of my favourite verses. I agree that we certainly don't always understand how it comes about, but God does know! :) Praise Him for that!

Yes let's choose the path of Life, as Jesus our Lord is the way, the truth and the LIFE!

Oh, Kitty, I love this post. We are created by, in and for life. Jesus said he not only came to give life - but give it abundantly.

How often do you really see this?

Sometimes, I think some of our people in the pews like to put little picket fences around life and take it in bite sized chunks. But Jesus talks about life and his example is of meeting it purposefully and full on and then rising to a resurrection which is life beyond our comprehension.

And do you ever come across people who have difficulties in life - with mind or with body or with background - and yet are exemplars of abundant living?

You are an example, yourself, Kitty of the abundant life and what cheers me no end is that you seek to do it so creatively - living creatively, and encouraging others into creativity. Go, sister girl!

Dear Miss Eagle, thanks so much for your encouragement.

I agree that some of our people in the pews like to put little picket fences around life and take it in bite sized chunks. Hehe I am guilty of that at times, but I am committed to living life abundantly and purposefully, like you said - wherever I find myself.

Awww....
You're so sweet, Kitty dear.

I need to be more cautious.
I had been very clumsy lately.
Fell down. Knocked onto things while walking.
I can be so blind!
HaHa!
