You cannot change the world,
but you can present the world with
one improved person, yourself.
You can go to work on yourself
to make yourself into the kind of person
you admire and respect.
You can become a role model
and set a standard for others.
You can control and discipline yourself
to resist acting or speaking in a negative way
toward anyone for any reason.
You can insist upon always doing things the loving way
rather than the hurtful way.
By doing these things each day, you can
continue on your journey toward becoming
an exceptional human being.

It's a very long but extremely important journey...
Well, it begins with a tiny step. May we have the strength to complete it in order to glorify Him =)
May I copy this onto my blog, Kitty?
Thank you =)
amen, we do need God's strength to complete this long and important journey Audrey. You're welcome to copy this onto your blog. Brian Tracy is very inpsiring!
True - as far as it goes. Australia just changed its government and we have had the uplifting experience of the apology and a renewed move towards true reconciliation with the first peoples of this nation. We can change more than ourselves - if we take a Kingdom of God approach and bring its ethics and lifestyle in our lives. Just to make our li'l old selves pious and righteous is not what Jesus died for. Sadly, more people - including Christians - have the Self approach rather than the Kingdom of God approach.
Blessings and bliss
