I enjoy being with people, but I always enjoy being alone at times.
Hey I was wondering - for those of you who have boy friend /girl friend / partner / husband / wife, how do you determine your time together and time alone? Do you have a concensus between yourselves regarding this?
I identify myself with peregrine (a person tending to travel; they are nomadic, mobile, wandering and roving), and sojo (sojourner), one who is a temporary resident in a place. It is nice to be alone.
Not really. We just gravitate to our own desks at times and then tend to just go with the flow. Sometimes Michael needs time to think in prep for a sermon or something so he'll wander around outside and I'll leave him to it and he gives me space to do the things I need to but apart from that we do almost everything together.
I really like to be alone, but spend most of my work day with people. My husband is an extrovert but spends most of his work day alone. After being married a long time it is important to set aside the special time together. It is my most important ministry.
Matthew, do you like to be with people too?
Amanda, that's so nice :)
Andrea, I agree that setting aside special time together is important!
I am not sure about that one, Kitty. If they are close friends.
fair enough Matthew.
